The XLR and XLS Family are a range of high performance implementations of the MIPS64 architecture. These SoCs were originally developed by Raza Microelectronics (RMI). RMI was later acquired by Netlogic Microsystems, and Netlogic in turn was later acquired by Broadcom.

XLR and XLS processors SoC support first appeared in Linux kernel version 3.0 and is being actively maintained.
