General Description

The Broadcom BCM91250, also known under its codename SWARM, is an evaluation board made by Broadcom for its SB-1 BCM1250 SOC. It features 2 32-bit 3.3V PCI, 2 64-bit 3.3V PCI slots, 1 HyperTransport slot, 2 1000baseT ethernet connections, 2 USB ports, 2 RS-232 ports and more and is fully supported by Linux.

Firmware

All SWARM systems use Common Firmware Environment; by default it's configured big endian.

Linux Support

The SWARM is supported in Linux 2.4 and 2.6 with 32-bit and 64-bit kernels.
