MobilePro 800 (MC-R700A)

I am not quite sure where to post a question, but here goes: I have a NEC MobilePro 800 that I'd like to have some flavor of linux on, so that I could use a wireless card, and web browse. I have no idea where to start, or what to do. As for linux, I have used Ubuntu, but am a complete noob.

If this is not the place, please direct me to where I should go for help.
