Marvell Mips SOC
===Marvell Firehawk RD-88E6318 Rev 2.0 Link Street Family===
Summary from Marvell site
The Link Street 88E6318 gateway router integrates a proven IPSec VPN security acceleration engine to secure sensitive network traffic with a high-level of network throughput. The 88E6318 device attains high performance for SME routers: wire-speed bi-directional routing with NAT (simultaneous WAN-to-LAN and LAN-to-WAN), and wire speed ftp download performance. A 64-bit MIPS processor for full-wire-speed packet routing powers the device. In addition, the device integrates the Link Street 88E6063 QoS switching fabric, the Company's Fast Ethernet digital PHY technology with built-in Virtual Cable Testerâ„¢ diagnostics, and an on-chip PCI bus enabling the addition of external wireless LAN modules, all incorporated within a single system-on-a-chip. With the integration of the NetGX security engine, the 88E6318 device provides performance improvements up to 6x relative to current SMB/SOHO security products.
