The ITE 8172G is an ATX form factor evaluation board made by ITE that utilizes a MIPS R5000 to work with its ITE 8172G companion internet appliance chip. The processor can be either a NEC Vr5432 or QED RM5231.

Linux support

Supported in Linux 2.4 and 2.6 but code is suffering from severe bitrot.

ITE 8172G support is deprecated and scheduled for removal in September 2006 (after the 2.6.18 release)
