Problems with checkout of linux kernel trough CVS

Hi,

I have problems downloading the repository of the linux kernel through CVS.
I can check-out gdb, libc and faq, but when I try linux I get the following
message:

"cvs server: cannot find module `linux` - ignored.
 cvs [checkout aborted]: cannot expand modules"

Can anyone help me out?
