I have question related for caches in R3000.

Hi all, my name is Shinkyu Kang.

 

I' am trying to to port linux 2.4.3 in MIPS R3000 based system (LSI SC2000).

 

This system supports full mmu unit.

 

This system have also two-way set associative or direct-mapped instruction cache(16k)

and direct-mapped data cache (8k).

 

When I-cache and D-cache are off, the kernel is up,

but cashes are on, the kernel is down.

 

what can I do?

what is modified in kernel?
