Linux/MIPS is alive and develops well. Depending on what kind of machine
you have you should take a look at http://oss.sgi.com/mips (Linux on SGI),
http://decstation.unix-ag.org/ (Linux on DECstations),
http://www.linux-vr.org/ (Linux on MIPS-based PDAs) or at
http://www.linux-mips.org/ for a general overview (although the site
currently covers mostly SGI stuff).
