In message <E12QCQ3-0005kO-00@xmission.xmission.com> Eric Jorgensen writes: : Is this going to be similar to ARC based axp systems, where i need : a small fat16 partition for booting? Yes. Most arcbios machines will only boot off fat16 or fat12 filesystems *WITHOUT* Win95/Win98 extentions. I know that on my OpenBSD/arc system, I have to disable *ALL* fat extensions in order for the boot blocks to recognize the files that I put there. Warner |
