With 2.3.42 and also 2.3.21 `make boot` produced vmlinux.ecoff in
the arch/mips/boot directory.

I do have a stable 2.3.21 kernel that runs on a 5k/133 and 2 5k/25's with
only the basic stuff supported, e.g. no modules.
