You may use the same binaries as you use natively. Cross compiling GNU libc is doomed to fail. The source rpms the mips-howto refers to are generated from /dev/random. Download the MIPS rpm of the GNU libc, and convert it to another format (using rpm2cpio or alien) and extract the files from it. Finally copy it to your /usr/mips-linux or /usr/local/mips-linux (as described in the mips-howto). Ulf |
