I am trying to port the linux to NEC Image Risc Station. I have not started yet. I think it is easy for me to get a mips machine on which linux works and experiment with it and start the port.
 
I would like to buy a Mips R4400 based machine ( possibly ARC  Bios) machine, that has linux working on it. Does any one would like to sell a machine or does any one knows who is interested in selling a mips machine ?
