Hi all! Well, the subject says it all... with one difference. This message was printed on a DECstation 5000/133 running linux-2.1.100 from within a user space program via /dev/ttyS0. No tricks, no polling or blocking. Purely interrupt driven with copy_from_user() and everything. Looks like my serial device driver shows first signs of life and we're not too far away from a single user shell :-). Keep hacking. --- Regards, Harald |
