I've just compiled the 2.1.100 kernel (as found on decstation.unix-ag.org) and 
tried it on my maxine-box.

This is the result:

OK. I'm just trying to start to get to know the kernel-source, so I am not able 
to fix it.
(I DID managed to find to source-file that was responsable for this, not a bad 
start! ;-) )
