That's what I figured.

But where do I get the core gcc & binutils source? I know where Ralf's patches
are, and I also found gcc-2.5.8.tar.gz, gcc-2.7.1.tar.gz, and gcc-2.7.2.tar.gz
in the canonical source for GNU stuff, ftp://prep.ai.mit.edu/pub/gnu.
However, the patches in ftp.fnet.fr:/linux-mips/crossdev/src only apply to
either gcc-2.6.3 or 2.7.0, neither of which is available on prep.ai.mit.edu.
(?!) So where did Ralf and others get gcc-2.7.0? I see patches to take 2.6.0
and upgrade to 2.6.3 or 2.7.0, but I see no 2.6.0 or way to get there.
