You always need to install 4 SIMMs. The original JAZZ design 
accesses the system memory 64 bit wide and two way interleaved.
This has been changed on the PICA to allow low-cost setups.

Ie, you can run the Olli with 8MB (4*2MB), 16MB (4*4 or 8*2), 
32MB (4*8 or 8*4) and 64MB (4*16 or 8*8). More isn't recommended,
at least not until you decrease system clock to 40 Mhz. This
has been figured out by SGI Munich for a customer who insisted
on 256 MB phys. memory. Didn't work :-)
