can not check out linux repository

I can't check out the linux directory by execute the following commands:

c:\> cvs -d :pserver:cvs@oss.sgi.com:/cvs login
 enter password: cvs

c:\> cvs -d :pserver:cvs@oss.sgi.com:/cvs co linux
    cvs server: cannot find module `linux' - ignored
    cvs [checkout aborted]: cannot expand modules

The first command is ok and the second command failed. try it on other
directory is ok.

c:\>  cvs -d :pserver:cvs@oss.sgi.com:/cvs co libc
? libc/.new.ChangeLog.1
cvs server: Updating libc
U libc/ChangeLog.1
U libc/ChangeLog.2
U libc/ChangeLog.3
U libc/ChangeLog.4
